Additional information |
PGH supports an orphanage project located in the outskirts of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. It was founded by Chan Norn and Cormac Creed in 2005 with 39 children, and currently provides home to 138 children.
PGH works closely with the founders of SCD toward its purpose and goal to create a place of stability, care and education for orphans, fatherless and motherless children, children whose parents have been affected by explosives (landmines) or AIDS/HIV, and children of extremely poor families. The goal is not only to support the orphanages operational expenses, but also to purchase land and implement agricultural activities and business outreach, to reach self-sustainability for SCD, and eventual independence from donations.
